AllPlay Move: Footy
We want to break down barriers to inclusion in sport and play for all children.
We are listening to children, parents, coaches, and teachers and working with peak bodies and government agencies to make sure inclusion happens.
You will find information, practical tips and strategies, footy stories and videos for coaches, clubs, health professionals, parents and players of all abilities. These strategies have been developed using the best available evidence and by talking to people in the community, including individuals with disability, families, coaches, and health professionals.

AllPlay Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Footy
AllPlay Footy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children was created in 2018 as a joint initiative with the AFL for effective inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people in footy programs. We have partnered with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and AFL clubs across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia to create a variety of culturally responsive footy programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people of all abilities. Once this phase of R&D is completed, the aim is for the findings of the program to be built into the AFL/Deakin strategy with best-practice guidelines recommended across AllPlay Footy toolkits, coaching training and other relevant AFL programs to enable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children’s participation in footy.
AllPlay Move: Footy is also supported by funding from Jonathan and Simone Wenig. The program is conducted in partnership with The Perth Telethon Kids Institute, Charles Darwin University and The University of Melbourne.
